First, the daily maintenance content: The battery should check the following items every week:

(1) To remove surface dust, use a soft cloth or other similar material.

(2) Check for looseness, heat and corrosion at the joint. Clean up in time and make rust prevention measures.

(3) Whether the battery case is leaking or deformed.

(4) Whether there is acid mist around the pole and safety valve, seal the valve to control the battery.

(5) Battery pack float voltage.

(6) For each unit float voltage, for batteries below 2.18V, the battery should be balanced.

(7) Check the ambient temperature every day and adjust the float voltage in time. It is best to use a power supply with automatic temperature compensation. For accurate data, refer to the data provided by the battery manufacturer.

Second, quarterly and annual maintenance

1, internal resistance and resistance test

The internal resistance of the battery and the connection resistance between the single module should be measured once every quarter and the connection resistance; for the valve-controlled battery used for more than 4 years, the test cycle should be shortened by half. The measured resistance is significantly higher than the previous or near failure determination value, close to 1.25 times the base value. The test cycle should be shortened to half or 1/4 of the original. When the base value is reached or exceeded, the entire set of full capacity test or power failure test should be performed. The charge and discharge test of the monomer should be performed when the average value of the internal resistance of the entire battery is close to the internal resistance and the base value is approached or exceeded. In the activation test, when the internal resistance of the monomer exceeds 50% of the base value, the battery should be replaced without hesitation. For unconditional capacity test or activation test, use the system for a short time, half an hour charge and discharge test under the permission of the system safety conditions. The internal resistance is measured again. If the failure limit is exceeded, the battery should be replaced. If the above test is unconditionally tested, the monomer whose internal resistance reaches or exceeds the failure value should be replaced immediately. The principle of internal resistance matching should be considered when replacing the battery. When the number of replacement batteries is large, the total number is more than 10%, and when the battery with better internal resistance is not found, the whole battery should be considered.

2, capacity test

The sealed valve-controlled battery is tested at least once a year for a full capacity test or a deep discharge test. A full capacity test shall be performed when the average value of the entire group of internal resistance equals or exceeds the failure limit. When the internal resistance of the monomer is equal to or greater than the failure limit, monomer capacity and activation must be performed.

3, special maintenance

If the battery pack has experience with abnormal conditions (such as service discharge, overcharge or super high ambient temperature, etc.), then a test should be performed. To confirm that the battery pack is not damaged. The content of the inspection is the same as that required by the annual inspection.
