Fluorocarbon ore is a rare earth fluorocarbonate mineral (RFCO3 or R:(CO3)3RF3). These mineral deposits are found in Zaire, Malagasy, Uganda, Burundi, and the United States. Table 1 lists the chemical compositions of several fluorocarbon ore. As a mineral raw material for extracting rare earths, the history of fluorocarbon ore is much shorter than that of monazite. The Mondenbass mine in California, USA, began mining in the early 1950s. At the end of the 19th century, monazite was produced in Europe as a raw material for incandescent lampshades. After the Second World War, because monazite was the raw material needed to extract nuclear fuel, some resource exporting countries maintained their resources and only exported rare earth chloride or other rare earth enrichment after extraction of uranium and uranium . In recent years, the main exporting countries, like Brazil, due to a substantial increase in domestic production of rare earth metals, and rare earth export of intermediate goods decrease. Countries with scarce resources have gradually turned to buying fluorocarbon mines. In addition, since the content of uranium and uranium in fluorocarbon ore is much less than monazite, the pollution problem of J. sex in the production process is easier to solve. Like Japanese capitalists, they have to chase profits and are unwilling to solve the pollution problem. Instead, they use fluorocarbon ore instead of monazite as a stopgap measure. This kind of mineral has large reserves, high rare earth content, and is easy to handle. Today, with the development of rare earth applications, the development of foreign fluorocarbon ore production is much higher than that of monazite.
